For the past 22 years, the Kanata Minor Hockey Association has hosted the Ronald McDonald House Hockey Tournament. Not only does this tournament offer high-calibre hockey at the Minor and Major Atom competitive AA, A and B levels, but net proceeds are donated to Ronald McDonald house at CHEO. Through the generous support of many local businesses and the effort of many selfless volunteers, this tournament has raised in excess of $571,000 for this very worthwhile cause since its inception.

This year the tournament will be held from March 15 through to March 18, 2007 at the Kanata Recreation Centre in Kanata.

As part of the fundraising effort for Ronald McDonald House, the organizers of this tournament will be holding a silent auction at the Kanata Recreation Centre. We would be most appreciative of any item(s), goods or services your business would consider donating to this event. Last year alone, our auction efforts raised almost $8,000.00 for Ronald McDonald House. Our goal for 2007 is to exceed this amount.

Your contribution to this charitable initiative will be recognized in a number of different ways:

• Acknowledgement of your donation on the Kanata Atom Ronald McDonald House Hockey Tournament web site, including the logo of your business and a link to your website;
• Recognition on the silent auction bidding forms, catalogue and signage;
